Until Sunday February 22, 2015 he wasn&#8217;t summoned by the police and freely entered and exited his family&#8217;s home without harrassment. Wang Ning believes that this is a sign of progress on the part of the authorities.<\/div><div><\/div><div>&nbsp;<\/div><div>For the past several years Wang Ning has been working as a freelance writer, publishing on Boxun&#8217;s site rights defense stories and commentaries. But because of various reasons he has never secured a Boxun journalist&#8217;s card.<\/div><div><\/div><div>&nbsp;<\/div><div>When our reporter contacted Wang Ning by telephone he several times reminded him to take care of himself and his family and keep a low-profile while visiting home and then quickly return to New Zealand. He also told Wang Ning to respect his mother&#8217;s wishes and listen to his younger brothers&#8217; views in order to avoid conflict with them.<\/div><div><\/div><div>&nbsp;<\/div><div>From the communication, it was clear that Wang Ning had different views from his mother and brothers.
