\nEarly on, I wondered why we became rabble, mediocre, stupid, and
\neven evil once we were organized in some form.
\nJean-Paul Sartre said, hell is other people. We are hell to each other.
\nConscience, compassion, is the bottom line, but it can be breached. That
\nis why people, especially university scholars, call for the preservation of
\nthe bottom line. The rescue they offer is education, but people can also
\nsell education as merchandise. So, the Enlighteners pointed the finger at
\nthe system. But how can the system be changed? The system is not built
\nand maintained by one person but by all. In the face of rape, some people

The incident of Dr. Li Wenhua’s risky treatment of a Covid-19 virus
\npatient has become a famous name. Still, an investigation report has
\ndrawn attention to questions about the doctor’s qualifications to practice
\nmedicine. What we are facing now is not the difficult situation of the
\npandemic but the regulation of the practice of medicine. The right to
\nexplain the big picture and the last detail is always in the hands of some
\npeople. The so-called effects and side effects are unclear. These are not
\nprecisely the subjects that medical doctors should continue to study for
\nproof. A non-specialist would also like to know what explanation should
\nbe given for the uncertainty of the side effects indicated on the
\ninstructions of those proprietary Chinese medicines sold in pharmacies
\nall year round. We all know about the shortcomings of the medical
\nprofession, but what is the purpose of putting up a decent face for
\nwhoever wants to see it? I am curious to know the outcome of American
\nmedicine after such a long period of trial, whether it works or not, and
\nwhy a response has yet to be made.
\nIn my opinion, the so-called pandemic prevention and control is
\nnothing more than the active prevention and self-discipline of the public
\nbased on scientific knowledge. For patients, it is active treatment, with
\nbeds, facilities, doctors, and drugs. I think it is that simple. The so-called
\nsimple, that is to say, there is nothing extra. The premise is to respect
\nscience, common sense, and human nature. If not, we will have to
\nsacrifice and struggle with secondary disasters and pay more sacrifices.
\nToday was a relatively quiet day, although some neighborhoods had
\nstroke patients and other patients with fever admitted to the hospital.
\nThere were 3,000 yuan of relief money applications from people
\nstranded outside of Wuhan who wanted cash rather than general
\nplacement.
\nThere is a resident released from isolation asking for volunteers. The

Today I bought some salt, MSG, soya sauce, vinegar, soap, and food.
\nThese items have not gone up in price much. However, they are still a
\nsignificant expense for the average person, especially in these
\nextraordinary times. Without money, it is difficult to get around, not to
\nmention that many things are hard to buy, even with cash. We can go in
\nand out of our apartment buildings in neighborhoods every day. Suppose
\nothers don’t have good organizations to rely on. In that case, I’m afraid
\nthey can only reduce their needs to the most basic levels for living.
\nNobody knows how long the isolation will last.
\nA resident spent 200 yuan on buying 4 pounds of pork. The color
