\n<\/strong>It was a cloudy day, but the temperature was not too bad. We still
\nwore cotton coats and sweated when we walked and climbed the stairs.
\nWe know from the media that there are still more than 120 new
\nCovid-19 virus cases in Wuhan, probably due to the large number of
\nsuspected patients accumulated in the early days and the long latent
\nperiod of the virus. I heard that the government has started naming zero\u0002new-case neighborhoods, communities, and streets. Will the government
\ngradually lift the closure according to the severity of the pandemic in each
\nplace? I think this would be a perfect approach. It will allow people to
\nreturn to everyday life gradually. At the same time, it will focus on more
\neffective prevention, control, and relief in some areas where the
\npandemic is most profound.
\nThe natural gas company issued a notice to the community to do an
\nexcellent job of helping residents, especially those in need, to purchase
\nnatural gas tanks refilled. The content of the message is straightforward.
\nHowever, the notice uses an unquestionable tone that makes people feel
\nthat the company has the power of city gas management. The power is
\neverywhere. Every citizen must listen to the instructions from various
\ndepartments and companies. It has long been integrated into every part
\nof our lives.
\nIt is said that some small areas are selling frozen meat for 10 yuan
\nper half kg to residents, causing crowds to gather. That is evidence of the
\npeople’s plight in their lives.
\nI learned from the Internet that residents of a small district in Green
\nMountain Complex were sticking their heads out of the window, shouting
\nat the leaders who came to inspect the district’s service work, “Fake, Fake,
\nFake.” This is like the residents banging on the balcony for help in the
\nearly days of the pandemic. There are many ways to express ourselves in
\nan emergency.<\/p>\n

One neighborhood resident tried to leave the building to buy
\nmedicine. A kind-hearted police officer stopped him and helped him buy
\nthe medicine. The resident got the medicine but said he didn’t have
\nmoney, and finally, the community center had to pay for it.
\nDuring the screening of households in a building complex, it was
\nfound that one household had only one mask for the whole family with
\nthree people taking turns using it.
\nI learned from the media, that an older woman both knelt on the
\nfloor to express her gratitude to the medical staff. China has had a
\ntradition of kneeling since ancient times. Kneel to the emperor, kneel to
\nyour parents, kneel to your elders, and kneel to your benefactors. The
\nJapanese kneel as if they were sitting down, but the Chinese kneel for real.
\nI believe that the older people’s feelings are sincere and from the heart,
\nbut do not let the young people learn. Young people should not learn this
\ncustom from centuries and thousands of years ago.
\nThe issue of granting relief to foreigners in need who are stranded
\nin China has not gone well because the community is not sure precisely
\nthe criteria for relief. Some people also questioned why residents could
\nnot be given relief money when foreigners could be given it. The average
\nresident was unable to work for more than a month and had no income.
\nPrices are much higher than they used to be. Many residents must go to
\nthe doctor, buy medicine, and pay for expenses such as gas. All the bills
\nneeded to be paid without a penny discount. How difficult it is for those
