\u6700\u8fd1\uff0c\u5a92\u9ad4\u53ca\u7db2\u7d61\u5c0d\u4ed6\u570b\u75ab\u60c5\u53ca\u90a3\u4e9b\u570b\u5bb6\u6240\u91c7\u53d6\u7684\u9632\u63a7\u653f\u7b56\u591a\u6709\u62ab\u9732\uff0c\u96d6\u7136\u6709\u722d\u8b70\uff0c\u4f46\u81f3\u5c11\u5c0d\u6211\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u78ba\u5be6\u8d77\u5230\u4e86\u6d88\u9664\u6050\u614c\u7684\u4f5c\u7528\u3002\u96e3\u9053\u9019\u4e5f\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u5fc3\u7406\u758f\u5c0e\u548c\u5b89\u6170\u3002<\/p>\n

\u81ea\u4e00\u6708\u4e8c\u5341\u4e09\u65e5\u5c01\u57ce\u81f3\u4e8c\u6708\u4e2d\u65ec\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u88ab\u9670\u96f2\u7c60\u7f69\uff0c\u4e00\u7247\u54c0\u9d3b\u3002\u75c5\u4eba\u5bb6\u5c6c\u5c07\u5371\u91cd\u60a3\u8005\u653e\u5012\u65bc\u793e\u5340\u9580\u53e3\uff0c\u793e\u5340\u4eba\u54e1\u5728\u96a8\u6642\u90fd\u53ef\u80fd\u88ab\u611f\u67d3\u7684\u5371\u5883\u4e2d\uff0c\u986b\u6296\u8457\uff0c\u4e0d\u77e5\u6240\u63aa\u3002\u6240\u6709\u7684\u53cd\u994b\u548c\u8868\u9054\u90fd\u51dd\u7e2e\u6210\u4e16\u9593\u6700\u51b7\u9177\u4e5f\u662f\u6700\u9ebb\u6728\u7684\u56db\u500b\u5b57\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u5e8a\u4f4d\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u5e8a\u4f4d\u3002\u4e0d\u65b7\u50b3\u4f86\u7684\u6b7b\u4ea1\u6d88\u606f\u7121\u60c5\u5730\u97ad\u6253\u8457\u6574\u5ea7\u57ce\u5e02\u3002<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Today, the sunny Wuhan has a somewhat solitary quality, with
\npeople sitting at home and not paying particular attention to the scenery
\noutside their windows.
\nIn recent days, the naming of the outbreak-free community has
\nbecome a big deal. Still, I thought it was a pre-preparation for lifting the
\nclosure of the areas in batches, and I didn’t think it meant anything special.
\nCompared to regular times, locked down people are more
\nconcerned about their own minds, and most of them take a casual attitude
\ntowards the outside world, as they can’t get out anyway.
\nToday, the number of new cases is dropping again and seems to be
\nbreaking the double-digit trend. It’s Springtime and cold in February on
\nthe Chinese calendar, a time when colds and flu are common, and people
\nwho are not careful can catch a cold.
\nRecently, the media and the internet have been revealing a lot about
\nthe pandemic in other countries and the prevention and control policies
\nadopted by those countries, which although controversial, did at least for
\nme, have the effect of dispelling the panic. It was a kind of psychological
\nrelief and comfort too.
\nMany people have said that overcoming oneself is an essential act in
\nlife and the beginning of success. I think it makes sense. In the absence
\nof cure drugs and vaccines, it is especially important for us, the ordinary
\npeople, to overcome the fear of the Covid-19 virus and gain the
\nconfidence to overcome the disease. But how do we gain that confidence?
\nIn my opinion, timely disclosure of information, widespread
\npublicity and knowledge of pandemic prevention, adequate and strong
\nmedical resources, and building mutual trust between government and
\ncitizens are essential to dispel fears and build confidence.
\nFrom January 23rd to mid-February, our city was shrouded in a
\ncloud of gloom and woe. Families of patients dumped their critically ill<\/p>\n

patients at the community center gates, and the staff trembled,
\noverwhelmed by the possibility of being infected at any moment. All the
\nfeedback and expressions were condensed into the coldest and most
\nnumbing words in the world: no beds, no beds. The constant news of
\ndeath whipped the city relentlessly.
\nHow could such a tragedy happen? Just before this, we were still in
\na joyful atmosphere preparing for the New Year. The ever-positive TV
\nstations were still broadcasting the beautiful picture of the 10,000 people
\nfeasting and singing. The Chief Executive was still righteously refuting all
\nthe rumors and the public security authorities were still admonishing and
\ndealing with the rumor mongers. However, the tragedy still happened,
\nsuddenly and unexpectedly. Didn’t our experts, academics and senior
\ngovernment officials swear that we had experienced SARS and that we
\nwere confident and capable of preventing and dealing with all similar
\noutbreaks?
\nThe two words “no beds” already show how weak the city’s medical
\nresources and capabilities are. The doctors who carried out the treatment
\nlacked almost all the protective gear such as masks and had to run around
\nnaked. How can people in such a state, not panic, not fear, where to gain
\nconfidence? And it is almost inevitable that the government will make
\nsuccessive mistakes in the panic. Allowing patients to sit in their homes
\nin the name of home isolation caused more cross-infection; allowing
\ncommunities to act as firewall bunkers caused the public to lose trust in
\nthe government. The rapid spread of the pandemic was like a collapse of
\nthe dike, and there was no way to stop it. Darkness instantly enveloped
\nthe entire city and every family.
\nIf the information about the pandemic had been made public in time,
\nthe media network had been fully utilized to disseminate scientific
\nknowledge of pandemic prevention such as frequent hand washing and
\navoiding crowd gathering, the virus would not have spread so rapidly. All
\nthe people with fevers would not have swarmed the overburdened
\nmedical institutions in the sudden panic. They would have spared no<\/p>\n

effort to fight for the pitifully small number of beds. If the government
\nhad made a real effort to build the city’s health care system, strengthen
\nmedical investment and train pandemic prevention personnel beforehand,
\nwould the panic have intensified after the outbreak? As a result, in
\npatients being exposed and circulating in the community because they
\ncould not be treated, thus leading to more severe cross-infection?
\nInformation cannot be disclosed. Public opinion cannot be
\nsuppressed. Covering up the truth and deceiving the public has no way
\nto spread scientific knowledge about pandemic prevention. Because
\nmedical resources were limited, medical institutions were rushed to
\nrespond. Patients were not treated timely; panic could not be avoided,
\nTrust between the public and the government could not be established,
\nand the so-called joint fight against the pandemic was just a slogan. That
\nis the fundamental reason why the government has failed to prevent the
\npandemic and caused huge losses and injuries to the public, and the
\nreason for this requires deep introspection. Otherwise, the so-called
\nsacrifice will only be in vain, and we will repeat the same mistake next
\ntime.
\nIt is meaningless to pursue the blame without a deep reflection on
\nthe root causes and even the system. Still, at best, it will only provide an
\nopportunity to promote and dismiss the government officials.<\/p>\n
