MAR. 18, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The sky was clear, and the temperature was stable and above 20<br \/>\ndegrees Celsius. The people are all out of their winter clothes. A peach<br \/>\ntree planted in front of a neighborhood homeowner&#8217;s house is in full<br \/>\nbloom. I wonder if the owner is well after the pandemic.<br \/>\nThe number of confirmed patients is one, and the number of<br \/>\nsuspected cases is 0. Thus, almost everything looks good, and the signs<br \/>\nof a gradual re-opening are becoming increasingly evident. Starting<br \/>\ntomorrow, all types of businesses can apply to return to work in<br \/>\naccordance with the requirements notified by the Pandemic Prevention<br \/>\nCommand. There is also news that people will be able to travel with their<br \/>\nelectronic health codes. Furthermore, with a special I.D. card, people can<br \/>\ntake city buses shortly. In other words, the pandemic is coming to an end,<br \/>\nand the government will end the state of emergency soon. Although this<br \/>\nwas inevitable, it is something people have been waiting for.<br \/>\nI can see people walking on the lawn around flower beds in the<br \/>\nneighborhood in my apartment complex. A few young people were<br \/>\nplaying badminton with masks. I heard a boy shouting from a distance:<br \/>\n&#8220;I&#8217;m suffocating.&#8221; As Wuhan has done, the situation in other provinces<br \/>\nand cities should be more optimistic. Still, foreign arrivals are said to be<br \/>\ncausing some trouble in those areas. The trajectory of these arrivals is<br \/>\nrelatively easy to control and should not pose much of a threat. The<br \/>\nprobability of a secondary outbreak should be lower. Otherwise, it would<br \/>\nexpose more than just the inability to prevent and control the pandemic.<br \/>\nPerhaps this is the main reason why some foreign staff chose to return to<br \/>\ntheir home countries. After all, the outbreak is in progress in Europe and<br \/>\nthe United States, and it is human instinct to run away from danger.<br \/>\nOn the other hand, their choice also relieves the burden on their<br \/>\ncountries, which is a little reward. Some alternative interpretations and<br \/>\nrenderings by the domestic network and media can only be described as<\/p>\n<p>a kind of catharsis and a manifestation of mental distortion. Mind players<br \/>\nare always looking for a way to vent their frustration. The absolute fools<br \/>\nalways think they are the smartest. That is not a bad thing. They deserve to be respected and treated reasonably, although<br \/>\nit has been challenging.<br \/>\nMany community center leaders have been interviewed by the<br \/>\ndisciplinary authorities one after another, which is also a major feature<br \/>\nthat is difficult for outsiders to understand.<br \/>\nThe Chinese often say that human hearts are made of flesh and<br \/>\nblood. Understanding the human heart and the concept of human nature<br \/>\ndetermine the direction of development of a person, society, and nation.<br \/>\nFor many years I have hoped to see myself clearly through introspection.<br \/>\nThe Christian concept of original sin has enlightened me and given me<br \/>\nsome insight into the cultural path of the nation. Suppose you ask anyone<br \/>\naround you whether human nature is good or evil, the answers will always<br \/>\nvary. If you say that everyone has an evil side in their heart, that everyone<br \/>\nis inherently a sinner, you will be met with unanimous opposition. Why<br \/>\nis this so? After pondering and observing for a long time, I realized that<br \/>\nalthough we all have different views on human nature, we all absolutely<br \/>\nbelieve that we must be good. They are good people, although they will<br \/>\nalso make mistakes. However, only a momentary mistake is more deluded.<\/p>\n<p>The intention is still good.
