\nCloudy, hot, and stuffy.
\nThe number of confirmed patients was added to the outbreak
\nnotification, and the number of suspected patients continues to be zero.
\nAt the entrance and exit of the building complex, I saw some young
\npeople returning to work and were going through the checking point of
\nthe gate. The number of vehicles on the street increased significantly.
\nSome of the roadblocks that were previously set up on the main roads
\nwere removed one by one. However, banks, shopping malls and general
\nbusinesses were still closed. Occasionally, I saw buses passing by with
\nnot-on-service signs.
\nAccording to some sources, the government will gradually approve
\nthe lifting of the closure of some areas and communities free of the
\npandemic so that residents can go out to buy goods in certain areas. The
\nmost discussed issue among colleagues is, naturally, the timing of the
\ncomplete lifting of the closures of the city. Today, the government issued
\nregulations to implement a real-name registration system on public
\ntransportation such as buses, subways, taxis, and boats. People will have
\nto scan their health codes to travel within the city.
\nThe government will adopt a phased approach to discontinue the
\nlockdown gradually when it cannot provide more financial subsidies and
\nbenefits to the citizens. Restoring the city’s production and operations
\nwill be the government’s main task from now on. Indeed, even if the
\npandemic is completely over, self-help will still be the theme of most
\npeople’s struggle, and in contrast to the silence of the closure, we are in
\nfor an exciting period of life that will not be short.
\nWhen it comes to the pandemic in Europe and the United States,
\nmany people watched as they watched the fire from across the river.
\nRegarding the pandemic situation in the United Kingdom and the United
\nStates, the tone of some people is dismissive. I was surprised that most<\/p>\n

people seemed to have forgotten about the tragic experience from
\nJanuary to mid-February. Occasionally, people mentioned it with a calm
\nexpression as if they were listening to an anecdote from a distant land.
\nHas grief left us and the land we live in? Have our nerves become
\nextremely strong, or has our unique forgetting mechanism kicked in?
\nIt is not difficult to observe that some people around us seem to
\nhave completely adapted to their current lives, moving in and out of their
\nneighborhoods and between the various franchised departments with
\nease and attention. I wonder if they will feel a bit lost and lonely when
\nthe pandemic is over.
\nWhat I’m trying to say is that while we are still amid the pandemic
\nand the lockdown, and the news from all sides is still irritating us, I see
\nthe curtain of forgetting unfolding and trying to overshadow us. When
\nlooking back in history, forgetfulness is nothing new to us. How many
\npeople still remember the years of starvation that killed tens of millions
\nof people in the middle of the last century? Even those who are still alive
\nand those who were harmed still defend the tragic Cultural Revolution.
\nThose dreadful years that wasted the youth of a generation have also
\nbecome the asset of some people to show off. For those who are alive,
\nthe pain and humiliation are fading like clouds. What is left in their mind
\nis always those passionate illusions.
\nI hope I have misjudged the situation. Otherwise, the grief brought
\nto us by this will be even greater, and the damage and loss may be long\u0002lasting. History is the precipitation of past experiences with joy and
\nsorrow. We look forward to the good in the joy and the sorrow. We
\nrepent and contemplate and thus become strong and wise. We are driven
\nto improve the quality of human beings constantly. When someone
\nsucceeds in extracting the most painful and heavy memories, as heavy as
\nthe foundation cornerstone of a building, our lives lose balance. We will
\nalso lose the opportunity to understand ourselves and ultimately lose the
\nability to awaken.<\/p>\n

A very close colleague asked me very sincerely whether the United
\nStates was good or not. I really don’t know how to answer. After all, I
\nhave never been there. I could only suggest that if you have the money,
\nyou can let your children go there to study for some time. She said,
\n“That’s too difficult. We can educate our own”. As far as I know, many
\nimmigrants to the United States are poorer than even many blacks, but it
\nis still a luxury to immigrate to America for the public here in our country.<\/p>\n
