Chinese Human Rights Defenders (CHRD) reports that since September 28, 2014, they have counted more than 96 people who have been arrested on the mainland for supporting the Hong Kong “Occupy Central” protests. Some who have been released have told reporters that the police are privately saying the real number is more than 320 arrested. This news doesn’t include the reported arrest of Liu Meng and her models for holding up “yellow umbrellas” in a fashion show.
