Reclaiming Tiananmen is a series of events to mark the 25th anniversary of the 1989 pro-democracy movement and to remember the victims of the massacre which took place on 4 June 1989. Hosted and organised by Amnesty International UK, Friends of Tiananmen Mothers UK and Chinese Uyghur Tibetan Solidarity UK.
28 May – 5 June: Exhibition: “64+25=89”
An exhibition of photographs from the Tiananmen Square protests in Beijing in 1989.

Tuesday 3 June: Panel Discussion: “Reclaiming Tiananmen”
A panel discussion with protesters present at Tiananmen Square in 1989, the generation born in 1989 plus Tibetan and Uyghur activists.

Wednesday 4 June: Candlelit vigil
A candlelit vigil to remember all those who died, were injured and imprisoned when Chinese armed forces stormed Tiananmen Square on 4 June 1989.

以“广场属于人民”为主题，天安门母亲之友、大赦国际英国分部和英国“华维藏团结会”，将于2014年5月28日至6月5日，在伦敦举行图展、研讨会、烛光纪念等系列活动，回顾八九民运，悼念在六四大屠杀中牺牲的先烈，声援伟大的天安门母亲群体。

研讨会邀请与1989年相关的两代人（1989年民主运动的参与者和1989年出生的年轻一代），共同回顾八九民运，探讨今天纪念八九的必要与紧迫。演讲人包括：积极参与八九民运、亲历戒严部队清场过程的历史学者吴仁华，其专著《天安门三部曲》为六四屠杀真相的研究奠定了里程碑。年轻一代演讲人包括生于1989年的王天安，她13岁时，父亲王炳章因从事民运而被中共当局判处终身监禁，在四处奔波营救父亲的路上，天安也在发掘自己名字的含义。此外，参与讨论的还有当年的驻京记者梅兆赞，以及来自不同族群的1989年的参与者。研讨会不仅向本地公众开放，也将在互联网上征集网友的问题。参与讨论，请用推特标示 #TAM25
