The deal reached by European Union and Chinese negotiators in Beijing would let about 75 million Chinese-made garments into Europe.

Gu Kailai, wife of China's former Chongqing Municipality Communist Party Secretary Bo Xilai, poses for a group photo at a mourning held for her father-in-law Bo Yibo, former vice-chairman of the Central Advisory Commission of the Communist Party of China, in Beijing in this January 17, 2007 file photo. Neil Heywood, the British businessman whose murder has sparked political upheaval in China was poisoned after he threatened to expose a plan by a Chinese leader's wife to move money abroad, two sources with knowledge of the police investigation said. Heywood had spent his last week in Chongqing in Nan'an district, an area politically loyal to Bo, and stayed at two hotels: the Nanshan Lijing Holiday Hotel and the Sheraton hotel.
